It's been a decent campaign for them to not make the semi final despite not losing a game and hammering both Cavan and Meath. Surely Killian Spillane is good enough for starting u21 this year,I'm from donegal and I thought he'd be on the senior panel this year Killian only turned 18 in November I think so there's plenty of time for him yet.

It's quite frustrating that Kerry GAA TV doesnt allow you to share or embed their videos, do they not want to promote Kerry teams? What is the point of making the video at all if it's only going to be tucked away somewhere on the Kerry GAA website? I literally have no idea what they're trying to achieve.

asked this in another thread, is gary o sullivan listry in the panel? I haven't seen him play much but I'm reliably informed he's flying with UCC. He was excellent for them against Limerick 2 weeks ago. I didn't see the game in Tralee last Friday but it wasn't much of a contest anyway. If he's making the UCC team and performing well then surely he's at the level required? Also is Kieran Murphy out for long? Was hoping he'd be a lynchpin in midfield for this team.

Can't you just share the Url? Anyway shield semis: Kerry v Monaghan Leitrim v Tipp

Gary O Sullivan was as impressive as any UCC players against the ITT, albeit a poor game. To share the videos go onto Vimeo, create an account and follow Kerry Gaa and that should give you the persmission to share the videos they have on their account. vimeo.com/channels/kerrygaa/117057903

O'Shea' account that hosts the Kerry GAA TV videos, but no recent videos are available to view not to mind share. It seems the only way you can watch them is embedded in a Kerry GAA website post. Can't you just share the Url? It doesn't allow that.

Kerry Under 21 Footballers advance to Hastings Cup Plate Final
Kerry 3-12 Monaghan 0-8
Kerry advanced to the Plate Final of the Hastings Cup at Emo outside Portlaoise today when proving too strong for Monaghan in the semi final and will now play the winners of the other semi final between Tipperary and Laois in the Final.
Kerry got off to a good start and were 4 points to 1 up by the 20th minute with Conor Keane converting three of those scores from placed balls. Monaghan fought back to level the game at 4 points each during a tough second quarter, but Kerry served notice of what was to come when Cillian Fitzgerald brought a fine save from the Monaghan keeper. When the goal did come just before the break it came courtesy of a route 1 delivery that fell nicely for Jack Barry who booted the ball to the net and when Michéal Burns followed up with a point, Kerry were four clear at the break, 1-5 to 0-4.
Kerry kept the scoreboard ticking over on the resumption with points from Brian Crowley, Micheal Burns, Conor Keane (2) and Dara Roche to lead by 1-10 to 0-6 by the 40th minute and then either side of the three quarter mark, Kerry struck for two goals to secure the win. First, Cillian Fitzgerald finished off a fine move involving Micheal Burns and Conor Keane and soon after Dara Roche did likewise after another defence splitting move. Sub Kevin McCarthy and Conor Keane completed the scoring as Kerry ran out deserving winners.
Scorers: Kerry: Conor Keane 0-6 (Frees), Dara Roche 1-1, Jack Barry and Cillian Fitzgerald 1-0 each, Brian Crowley and Michéal Burns 0-2 each, Kevin McCarthy 0-1.
Kerry: Darragh O'Shea (Ballydonoghue), Brian Ó Beaglaoich (An Ghaeltacht), Gavin Crowley (Templenoe), Sean T. Dillon (St Senans), Cathal Murphy (Rathmore), Denis Daly (St Marys), Cathal Ó Luing (An Ghaeltacht), Jack Barry (Na Gaeil), Eanna O' Conchúir (An Ghaeltacht), Micheál Burns (Dr Crokes), Brian Crowley (Templenoe), Matthew Flaherty (Dingle), Dara Roche (Glenflesk), Cillian Fitzgerald (Churchill) , Conor Keane (Killarney Legion).
Subs: Killian Spillane (Templenoe), Liam Carey (Beaufort), Donal Maher (Kilcummin), Kevin McCarthy (Kilcummin), David Foran (St Senans), Paul McMahon (St Pats).

how do people rate our chances in this for the year.
minimum requirement here is a Munster titles, our performances here in the last 15 years have been nothing short of disgraceful and if Darragh doesnt bring this home this year, he should never again get a Kerry team.
after that, everything is a bonus.

To be honest that seems at first to be a bit extreme but I have my reservations about whether Darragh is up to coaching at inter-county level. Anyway- this will be a very tough Munster to win with both Cork and Tipp being very strong

I think they have a good chance in Munster anyway . I think this team is better than last years team and I think Cork are not as strong as other years . Tipp will be tough but they are beatable . I think they have a good shot at munster but not sure after that . Dublin should be very strong along with Mayo .

A long way till March 18th yet v Cork or Limerick but early results would suggest they are well capable. Roscommon should come out of Connacht so that's a good barometer, well the only barometer we have right now anyway!

I think Mayo will win Connacht , Dublin to win Leinster , Tyrone to win Ulster . Kerry are a little light up front . They have good footballers but they need a bit of size in the forwards . You could see Eanna O'Connor go to Full Forward with Conor Keane and Brian Crowley the two corners . I would move Cillian Fitzgerald to no.11 with Miceal Burns and Matt Flaherty on the wings . Barry O'Sullivan to partner Kieran Murphy in Midfield . Ronan Murphy and Greg Horan could be the wing backs with Jack Barry at no.6 . Tom O'Sullivan in one corner with Gavin Crowley at full back and Cathal Murphy probably for the other corner . Darragh O'Shea will start in goal with Shane Ryan injured . Jack Savage , Dara Roche , Niall Sheehy , Denis Daly , Pat O'Connor , Killian Spillane , Conor Jordan , Cathal O'Luing , Dave Foran , Brian O'Beaglaoich , Fionan Clifford , and Gary O'Sullivan will all be close to the panel .

I'd be surprised if Jack Savage didnt start and if Cormac Coffey didnt at least make the panel. The use of Greg Horan will be interesting as I feel that he can be wasted at wing back.
I'd also be very, very surprised and almost shocked if Eanna starts at full forward

The team I'd like to see with everyone available would be 1.Shane Ryan Rathmore 2.Gavin Crowley Templenoe 3.Brian Begley An Ghaeltacht 4.Patrick O'Connor Dingle 5.Conor Jordan Stacks 6.Denis Daly St.Mary's 7.Ronan Murphy Beaufort 8.Kieran Murphy Kilcummin 9.Greg Horan Stacks 10.Micheal Burns Crokes 11.Jack Savage Rahillys 12.Matt Flaherty Dingle 13.Conor Keane Legion 14.Cillian Fitz Churchill 15.Niall Sheehy Mitchels
I don't know if some of them are going to be missing through injuries or what but I think that would be a pretty solid team, midfield pairing in particular look strong. Guys like Gary O'Sullivan and Brian Crowley would be pushing hard for a start too. Jack Barry looks like he has improved since his minor days too. Think Eanna O'Connor would do well to start on that team.

Cathal instead of Pat O Connor! Not so sure about Conor Jordan or Niall Sheehy! Id probably have Brian Crowley in theit! Also Brian Begley and Gavin Crowley switch! Brian is a fabulous footballer but not so sure if hes got the physicality for full back when hes still 18!

Coffey has been flying by all accounts, as has Savage. Would have both as starters in my books. Coffey one of the few that had started the first 3 games before getting injured. Savage was outstanding against Cavan in Emo also.
Anyone know anything about Murphy and Ryans availablity? They're still injured AFAIK

They're still injured AFAIK I had heard that Ryan would be out for a few months at a minimum and that he'll never play outfield again. Was off some Rathmore folk so assuming it's accurate. Horrible for the lad.

Heard something similar to that myself but wasnt sure if it was true. Very hard on him but heres hoping it'll work out in the long run for him.
Id expect a team something similar to this, but its impossible to call theres a decent selection of players there and alot of work to be put in yet.
1. Darragh O'Shea 2. Cormac Coffey 3. Gavin Growley 4. Cathal Murphy 5. Conor Jordan 6. Denis Daly 7. Ronan Murphy 8. Greg Horan 9. Jack Barry 10. Micheál Burns 11. Jack Savage 12. Brian Crowley 13. Conor Keane 14. Cillian Fitzgerald 15. Niall Sheehy/Matthew Flaherty
Players that I wouldnt be surprised getting in the team depending on availability,
Kieran Murphy Barry O Sullivan Brian Ó Beaglaoich Dara Roche Padraig O Connor

Matthew will get the start ahead of sheehy and they will prob go with a 2 man inside line of keane and cillian fitz
