It's a strange one. But maybe as league football is "muck", some Kerry folk presumably won't be paying a Setanta subscription to watch their team. So, maybe that's your answer. Come on-thats an extremely poor attempt at logic! I'm actually not that bothered by the situation (as i will go to as many games as possoble) but I do think that it is a bit odd. All hilarious banter comments aside- it is odd that the best team in the country are not being shown during the league And no documentary commissioned over xmas detailing our success this year as recent All Ireland winners have had!

Shur wasn't it a soft All Ireland, we were informed in a previous post that 11 of the top 16 counties are in ulster and leinster. All ireland won having beaten 2 Munster, 2 Connacht and 1 ulster team only. We had the easy path, so no documentary, no panel on late late only begrudging credit, ref was the reason we beat Mayo, Donegal didn't appear in the final and worst of all Fitz is no tactical genius like Jim McG or man management guru like Jim Gavin.

The best way around this issue is to go to the games. I have my season ticket so it means zero about what games are going to be televised by setanta. The only 2 games I will have difficulty going to is the mayo and kerry away games, so will have to tune into a radio station or something to get the action. Will have my homework done long before then, but tg4 may be an option.

I was wondering when our late late appearances would be alright- in fairness though the GAA are really trying to push JOD as a marketable face (like they did with blackie Connors Brogan) but there just isnt the same market

Aye, that's about right You forgot about the Kerry man who nicked Paul Durcan's baseball cap

Durcan deserved what he got. The lobbed and looped kick out to the player standing where the 21 meets the side line was kamikaze stuff. It was only a matter of time before he got caught.
Can't say I'll be paying the setanta sub with such a prevalence of Northern football on the schedule.

Good news for those worried that Kerry league games would not be shown on TV. The Kerry V Mayo game, on Feb 1 at 2.00pm, in Killarney will be covered by TG4.
