D4 was mentioned on the thread for the game, I suggest you post there as more will read it and we'll probably all get the right story. I wouldn't panic and any officer will know and they won't mislead us.
Donegal was supposed to be in City West so we will be sparing them the €60 return taxi fare which they can use to drown their sorrows!

D4 hotel a room is €270 per night without a breakfast !!!! City West is €130 per room with breakfast,,, I would gladly pay the taxi fare with that difference !!! Robbery, I hope it's not the D4

All the hotels are changing names there very regulary. When ye say d4, ye mean jurys? Burlington is now the double tree!

my house is only 5 mins from all 3 hotels Now stop boasting you! I'd say you're one of the clever investors with houses in all the most desirable parts of Dublin. Some of us will count ourselves lucky to have the second silage done this week and the children sent off to the university with grant cheques in their back pockets, before we even have a chance to think about hotels in the "leafy suburbs" of South Dublin.

Donegal are in City West, by pure chance I rang the Clyde court yesterday as I'm only over the road from it, made a general enquiry as I couldn't get through to the county board office. Receptionist kindly told me she couldn't divulge this info...

Should this thread be titled Team Stalking? No, team stalking is a fine but top secret art developed over many years and certainly not be discussed on a public forum!!!!

How is it stalking? You have to pay to get in. Part of that money goes to team fund. Always a great night.

"After Match Function in Dublin The after match function for Kerry GAA supporters will be held in the old Jurys Hotel, formerly the D4, now known as the Ballsbridge Hotel. Entry to this very popular event is strictly by ticket only; tickets cost €20 and are available from the Austin Stack Park on the following days only: (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only, 3pm to 5:30pm) and the Kerry GAA Store in Killarney. Any unsold tickets will then be brought to Dublin and will be for sale at the venue on the night while stocks last. All proceeds from this function will go towards the Kerry team training fund. Come along and support both teams on the night."

They wouldn't be able to cater for that with the crowd that'll turn up at the D 4. It'll be a great night I'm sure.

The D4/Ballsbridge hotel has almost 400 rooms, they were selling rooms for €270 for the Sunday night. The rooms in the Double Tree/Burlington were €109/129 - So the Ballsbridge Hotel probably sold 150 rooms at the inflated price because the Kerry Team had their banquet there. That's a €20,000+ boost for the hotel for the rooms alone (Drink sales excluded), hope the players get a commemorative robe

Keep your special deals for another thread/forum I'm disturbed by what the bales of hay are for. If it's as a mattress that's fine, if it's as hors d'oeuvres, well that's another matter entirely.

Bringing the tone of the conversation down lads - anytime, anyplace, anywhere simply meant you can park outside the Pub on Saturday night, the car park of the hotel where the function is on Sunday and when you break down on the road home on Monday you have your accomodation with you.
