Going throw my name into the ring. If anyone has any spare coming up to the game I'd appreciate it greatly. Anything inside of Croke Park will do.

Shouldn't be too difficult with 2 counties making up the 4 teams and no city involved; Dubs are biggest demand. I have often travelled without a ticket and always managed one. As often as not someone falls ill or whatever and their pal will actually be looking for a genuine supporter needing a ticket.
We once spotted a tout getting out of a taxi outside The Gresham and pull on his Kerry jersey, so less experienced supporters must use their loaf.
The last year we beat Cork I was offered a ticket free on the way in, and it was is the same row as the one I had and which took a lot of sweat to procure. I refused it so hopefully someone benefited and it was actually a Corkmen who had both tickets.

If you have become a member of your local club there is a great chance that your club would be able to accommodate you. That's the way things have been in recent years. It might be a different story with the bigger clubs with large membership numbers.Unfortunately GAA club membership closed in late May/early June.

I don't think it will be a major issue, it should be easier with Dubs gone and the minors getting through. The usual case is there is very little around until the Wednesday or Thursday before the game and then they start to surface. Clubs in other counties send back there unwanted tickets and they get redistributed between Kerry and Donegal again. I have never failed to get a ticket and nearly always got my ticket a few days before the match and often my mates that had none always got one the morning of the match. They always start to surface the week of the match and as I said if you go to Dublin with none and if you put in the effort and annoy and hound people around the Kerry bar's you will surely pick up a spare as loads of people get rid of there spares the day of the match. It's never failed for us anyway. Obviously it's better to have one going but it's not always the case but if you really want one you will get one. The real issue is for families that need 3,4 or 5 together that is a different case unless your going into the hill. Best of luck in the search.

Anyone got Kevin McStay's number ? Dont be distracting the poor lad - he'd be far too busy with his campaign to land the Mayo gig - visions of leading Mayo to the promised land are probably keeping him up nights already

Just a quick question. I am a member of the 5 year ticket scheme. When I joined I was living in Kerry and that was address used. Now I am in living in Dublin. Can I put Dublin onthe self addressed envelope so I can receive at my home in Dublin?

After hurling today the ticket chase should begin. I heard the county board print them now themselves so they will be out a little earlier than usual to the clubs.

Fair enough but I bought 2 tickets recently for a raffle for a car to support the players fund, so I'm now to contribute towards it again, 2011 from what I remember tickets were 70+10. It was enough. I'm heading up with the missus who I can assure u she has no great interest in football but she is coming along anyway, so it's €180 for 70 mins of football on top of accomadation, travel, grub, few scoops and down days wages from Monday and possibly Tuesday!! That's pricey!. Please god it won't b a draw..

the 10euro if its going to the players, is absolutely fine with me. these lads owe us nothing, if giving them a 10er contributes to a nice end of year holiday for them, then thats great.

Agree homerj.... funds are tight but I've contributed a few €'s to different draws for the Kerry player Holiday fund and won't begrudge any of them €10...

I see the GAA are giving €50000 towards the Tipp and Kk holiday funds because of the draw. Essentially the players are being bribed to draw?

Can I make a suggestion to GAA followers. This is my 2nd year as a season ticket holder. You pay 75 euro which entitles you to free entry into all the league games, plus the semis and final if you make it, the club finals on paddys day, and the first round of the championship ...FREE! Your print out or card is scanned at the turnstile, and if you accrue 60% attendance over the year, you are guaranteed a ticket if your team makes it to the all ireland final. This is the lucky situation that i am in now. It saves a hell of a lot of horse trading and sweating on whether you will get a ticket or not. Just saying, be clued in for future years if you are not aware of this yet.
Donegal have been allocated about 16000 tickets, which is small considering our minors are in it too. There will be a lot of disappointed people on sunday week, it is the same every year. Pity that everyone that deserves a ticket cant go. But there is another way....

I was wondering when the €10 raffle ticket charge would be mentioned here, it comes up every year and there are always a few lads complaining about it! I walked past the boys selling the tickets opposite the Gaelic Grounds the last day and when they asked would I but a ticket I said no thanks, sure wont I be buying one with my all Ireland final ticket.
And if the county board get 16,000 tickets that will be more than enough to go around.

On donegals Highland Fm the other night, county board official broke down their allocation of over 16000 tickets quite clearly. With over 13000 tickets going to 40 clubs. That's over 330 each. Meanwhile our boys are allocating 70 to each club and the usual story about a 'second allocation later on not sure exactly' . Last time I looked we had 70 clubs in the county so that makes 5000 tickets. Seems like a big discrepancy between 13000 and 5000 . Even allowing for a further allocation of 30 per club, that brings it up to 7000. Something wrong here!!!

Some clubs get more depending on size and some get extra if they play hurling and football as far as I know, but your right it would be interesting to see how the break down works. I know anybody who formally played Senior or won a senior medal (i'm not 100% which one) with the county hurling and football are entitled to at least on. Then you have the Kerry members in the schemes who get theirs, Kerry back room staff, officers of the county board, people who volunteered and helped out during the year, tickets for draws to raise money and so on and of course the panel of players. When all added up they start getting scarce real quick.
