Given the serious injuries he's had and the need to ensure full and proper recovery, I'd imagine it will be well in 2015 before Colm Cooper plays a match again. Would be interesting to see what happens if Crokes get the back door into Munster in November, especially a final in early December. Various people were saying he was taking part in training games of late, but its hard to know what his status is. 6-8 weeks time though, who knows.

Listowel 1-8 Rathmore 2-16.
Listowel, minus Cox, simply had nothing up front and despite more or less winning midfield, were outclassed at either end. Good, direct forward play by Rathmore cut the hosts open at will. Listowel, on the other hand, were slow and ponderous and bereft of ideas. Their goal came courtesy of a blasted Kennelly free. No AOM today for Rathmore. Is Tom Sull retired altogether ?
