Thanks for the reports. Much appreciated and of course I will be tuning in to Dr. Crokes TV later. I think this may be the year that Crokes deliver in the County C'ship. Very Hard to judge how West Kerry will come together as a team.

Great job by Crokes , I watched some games last year . I don't think they will win it out they are without Ambrose o' Donovan , Jamie Doolan , David Moloney and I think James Cahillane they will be missed . My club the Rock had a good win Friday night against Ardfert . Barry Shanahan , Ferghal McNamara , Denis McElligott , Daniel Bohane , TJ Hogan , Kieran Donaghy , Wayne Gutherie , Shane Carroll , Mikey Collins, David Mannix were best .

Ya Denis is in Boston playing wth the Shannon Blues club,Shane Carroll looked very impressive against Ardfert, playing at centre forward he linked the play well and was one of the Stacks best players.

At the double header in Beaufort today ..... Rathmore beat Laune Rangers in the first game and Mid Kerry beat St. Kierans in the second game.

Seemed like a stroll in the sunshine for Dr Crokes. I wonder how they will fare out later in the year.

Mid Kerry were very poor today. The one player that stood out was Gary Sayers. Donnacha Walsh was substituted id say he was carrying a slight injury as he performace was disappointing. The duel betwwen himself and Seamus Scanlon was very disappointing. Padraig Reidy had a good enough game too. Mid Kerry deserved their win. The badly miss Sean o Sullivan in the half forward line who would run a pace. His long term injury wont help mid kerrys chances this year.
Rathmore also had a good win but the performance of Tom Sullivan was poor as Pa Joy gave him an awful afternnon of it. Also Aidan O Mahony is way off the pace and has alot of work to do if he is returning to the county. Also in this game there was a stoppage due to an serious injury to a Ratmore player. I must say that the medical staff were very slow going onto the field. The player looked in severe pain.

Exceptional perfromance by na Crocaigh. J Buckley deserves a run against Limerick now.
W Kerry full-foward line very poor. How they were made out to be joint favourites with S Kerry is beyond me.

Kenmare led 07-05 at the break. As far as i know paul o connor was not playing as it was alan o sullivan who took all the Kenmare frees. From what i gathered Barry john Keane was meant to have been strandroads main player but a little bit indecisive at times. Kenmare aparently tried hard at the end but were a little wayward in front of the goals. Game finished 1-11 to 0-11

apologies if this is posted already
The losers of Mid Kerry/ St Kieran's v East Kerry Shannon Rangers V The losers of Dr. Crokes/West Kerry The losers of Kenmare/ Kerins O'Rahilly's v Ardfert Legion V The losers of South Kerry / St. Michael's Foilmore The losers of Laune Rangers/Rathmore V The losers of Spa/Feale Rangers
so by my reckoning that's be
St. Kierans V East Kerry Shannon Rangers V West Kerry Kenmare V Ardfert Legion V St. Michael's Foilmore Laune Rangers V Spa

I must say that the medical staff were very slow going onto the field. The player looked in severe pain. Mid Kerry scores, as far as I could make out were - Gary Sayers 2-01, Liam Sheehan 0-3, Colm Kerins 1-0, Kieran Foley 0-2, Darren O'Sullivan 0-1, Francis Courtney 0-1, Donal Kelliher 0-1 For St. Kierans, Tom McGoldrick 0-7, Tommy O'Mahony 1-0, John Buckley 0-1, Pa McCarthy 0-1, Daniel O'Shea 0-1 Gary Sayers was most impressive for Mid Kerry - had a very good first goal in the opening 10 mins, running right through the centre. Darren was very quiet, got into it a bit more towards the very end. Donnchadh came off early in the second half and I would suspect you're right about the injury and his left leg was strapped. I think Rathmore got it together a little better after the lengthy stoppage for the injury in the second half. Hope the player involved makes a speedy recovery. A few substitutions were made in the forwards and brought some speed and running and the two goals came then. Good to see Aidan O'Mahony lining out in mid field.

I was at the South Kerry v Bally F match saturday night, Declas O'Sullivan had a fantastic match, he scored 4 points from play. Bryan Sheehan also scored some great points but only one from play if i remermber correctly. Bally F were very poor in the middle of the pitch and seemed very short of fresh legs on there bench. There was a bit of a nasty air during the game with a couple of off the ball incidents. All in all a very entertaining contest.

No real surprise s this weekend.I didnt expect Kilcummin to beat Legion but i suppose that Legion are still a young and up and coming team when it comes to championship.
Crokes demolishing West kerry was also a shock.I exected it to be a much closer game.Crokes however put in a top class performance and ripped WK open from the start.
I must also commend the Crokes lads on the top quality service they are providing with there internet coverage of their games. Its much apreciated by me,keep up the good work lads.

Crokes and South Kerry the most impressive after this round then ? I suppose the next round will be mid-July at the earliest.

My theory on the WK performance is that the Gaeltacht lads, having played on their own as a senior club for so long, haven't bought into the idea of West Kerry fully. Maybe they will in the future, but I'd say they might be finding it hard at the mo.

Did all the county players get through the weekend in one piece? No Donnacha Walsh was substituted in the Mid Kerry St Kierans game with a hamstring injury. I would say he had it going into the game because he wasnt up to the pace of the game at all.

Great internet coverage by Crokes I hope they keep it up . It would be great if other teams would follow their example .

Thanks for the feedback on the Internet Coverage. Trying a few new things this year such as extra cameras and replays. Ran into a few audio issues on Sunday but we'll get there, probably just need a new PC. Thanks for tuning in.
Other teams should definitely give it a try. The County Board were very supportive of us and basic streaming is actually pretty simple. And as for affecting attendances, well the 1,500 people in Lewis Road on Sunday cancels that argument.
