Well, the dust is beginning to settle, the hangovers recede and as our outstanding captain said on Sunday evening, "there's more to life than football".

As a result, we're going to be running a limited service for the next few days, with just three threads open, and then we'll be closing up to do a bit of sleeping, dusting and preparation for the closing stages of the county championship.

Deep breath all, open up the curtains and see that it isn't all that gloomy outside.

We're going to leave one club thread open until Monday at midday, and thereafter close up the threads.

You will at all times be able to private message to your hearts content.

We will open one thread to discuss the Vodafone GAA All Star selections on the week of the announcements.

Full service will resume the week of the county championship semi finals.

Apologies if you won't be able to chat about the various divisions and the intermening rounds of the county championship, but, well, everybody needs a break, no more so than the people of Kerry after five fantastic years of support.

Make sure to get out for your club in the coming weeks, the club in the bedrock of the GAA and will need your support more than ever as the season draws to a close.
